Cost of the Storm

Thought you all might like to see this information passed on by our City Manager.  Kudos to the Public Works staff who quickly handled the calls from the storm and helped to get Taste back up and running.

PW has provided a cost estimate for the cleanup as follows:
Staff $ 33,000
Disposal 22,000
Tree removal 20,000
Stump grinding 10,000
Bag collection 11,000
Signal Equip damage 25,000
Misc 1,000
Total $ 122,000
The funds for this will come from our Public Works Emergency Operations Budget, which also covers snow and ice activities.
